About the ‘Bloxham Holistic Collective’

Rooted in the principles of the Tree of Life, we are a collective of qualified holistic practitioners and our goal is to support your wellbeing through evidence-informed complementary therapies that treat the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Therapies Offered

Meditation helps restore balance to mind, body, and spirit. It encourages deep relaxation and releases stress. Meditation can support us to be more in control of our reactions and emotions, uncovering blocks and barriers within us to come more into wholeness and balance.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy using light touch to support the body’s natural healing abilities. Developed by Dr. John Upledger, CST works with the craniosacral system to nourish the central nervous system, relieve tension, and improve overall well-being. Suitable for all ages, it helps release stress, ease pain, and enhance the body’s self-care mechanisms—promoting balance, relaxation, and better management of life’s challenges.

Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a pain-free, non-invasive treatment that gives your cells a tiny “electrical workout” so they perform better. It uses low-frequency electromagnetic fields to stimulate cells to produce energy more efficiently, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation. It’s often used for pain relief, improving bone healing, reducing inflammation, boosting circulation, and supporting overall wellness. Some people use it for stress reduction or better sleep.

At Mosaic Medical, I lead our Comprehensive Breast Cancer Service, supporting women who have had or are living with breast cancer. Drawing on my background as a medical doctor and my own experience of cancer, I combine advanced testing, integrative oncology and functional medicine to address root causes, optimise treatment outcomes and reduce recurrence risk. I work closely with patients on nutrition, hormones, lifestyle and resilience, offering truly personalised care. .

Counselling,is a talking therapy offering a confidential, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to explore emotional or personal challenges. A space where you are truly heard, at your pace.

Transactional Analysis

Reiki, meaning “universal life energy” in Japanese, is a natural system to help bring about an improved sense of wellbeing and a positive feeling of spiritual renewal. It is open to all belief systems and can bring deep relaxation, reduce stress, ease tension, and promote calm. During treatment, the fully clothed recipient lies or sits while the practitioner gently places their hands on or near the body. Reiki can also be given remotely.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-intrusive complementary therapy based on the idea that reflex points on the feet, hands, face or ears mirror different parts of the body. By applying light pressure with fingers and thumbs, it encourages energy flow, improves circulation and supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Each treatment is tailored to you, helping to promote relaxation, reduce stress and enhance overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles take into account your medical history and all current symptoms as well as nutrition and lifestyle to inform our diagnosis. The treatment will involve using fine, sterile needles and moxibustion applied gently to your body to make subtle but profound changes. There is evidence to support acupuncture being effective for many different conditions and symptoms.

Rest and relaxation is often the most neglected part of our health and wellbeing. We talk about nutrition, movement, and sleep—but how often are we actually taught how to relax? Continue reading...

Emerging from hibernation can mean many things. In nature, it’s the slow reawakening after winter -energy returning, movement beginning, life stirring again. But humans have their own kind of hibernation.
During the colder months, many of us retreat without even realising it. We put dreams on pause, quieten our ambitions, and focus on simply getting through. Life becomes more inward, and we tell ourselves we’ll reconnect with our fuller selves later.
And then spring arrives.Longer days and brighter light awaken something within us. Ideas resurface.
Desires return. There’s a gentle call to grow, reconnect, and move forward again.
This is where the Bloxham Holistic Collective can support you. We are a group of qualified holistic practitioners dedicated to your wellbeing as you re-emerge—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Through evidence-informed complementary therapies, we work with the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re rebuilding energy, restoring balance, or finding your way back to yourself, you
don’t have to do it alone.
Spring is a time of renewal. Let it be yours.

During Stress Awareness Month, it feels important to highlight something simple, yet powerful: the balance between the stress response and the relaxation response.⚖️ What Is the Stress Response? The stress response (often known as “fight or flight”) is your body’s natural survival mechanism.
Helpful in short bursts—but when it becomes your default state, it can begin to impact your health, energy, and emotional wellbeing.
🌼 The Relaxation ResponseThe relaxation response is the body’s way of restoring balance.
When activated, it can:
Reduce heart rate and blood pressure
Lower stress hormones
Ease muscle tension
Support digestion and immunity
Your body already knows how to do this—it just sometimes needs a little help getting there.
🌿 Simple Ways to Activate ItSmall, consistent moments can make a big difference:
Slow, deep breathing
Mindfulness
Gentle movement
Hands-on therapies like the ones we offer
💛 Support from Our TherapistsAt the Bloxham Holistic Collective, each therapist brings their own approach to supporting stress:✨ Reflexology Tip: The Solar Plexus Pause

Find the centre of your palm
Apply gentle pressure with your thumb
Take three slow, deep breaths
Let your shoulders soften
This corresponds to the solar plexus reflex, which is directly linked to the sympathetic nervous system—our body’s stress response.
✨ Reiki & Meditation Tip: Come back to centre

Place a hand on your heart and take three slow breaths.
You might quietly say:
“I breathe in peace and ease, and breathe out stress and worry.”
✨ Our Counsellor’s Tip:Release through movement
Stress can build in the body—sometimes a simple kitchen dance while the kettle boils is enough to shift it.✨ PEMF tip: Reconnect with nature
Step outside, take your shoes off, and feel the ground beneath your feet.
Grounding can help restore balance and calm the nervous system.
✨ Our Oncologist’s Tip: The Physiological Sigh
A slow inhale through the nose, a second short inhale, then a long exhale through the mouth.
A quick and effective way to signal safety to the body.
✨From our CranioSacral therapist:

Sit comfortably, eyes closed. Cycle breaths: inhale above the head → exhale to base of spine; inhale to third eye → exhale to solar plexus; inhale into ribs saying “I” → exhale saying “am.” Repeat 3–5 times or as desired.
🌼 A Gentle ReminderRelaxation isn’t something you have to earn—it’s something your body needs.
Start small. One breath, one pause, one moment.
And if switching off feels difficult, that’s often a sign your body needs support—not that you’re doing it wrong.
